Missed Milestones

I guess it really hit me when I saw my sister graduate from college and how unfortunate it was for her to not be able to walk at graduation when she had completed this milestone and she didn’t get the proper recognition she deserved.

My family and I are so proud of her, but it really put it into perspective, that maybe I won’t even get to experience my own graduation. 

Now I’m a sad senior who didn’t get to experience a memorable senior year with all the festivities I had long awaited since freshman year.
