Orange County Stay-At-Home Order Has Been Lifted
February 22, 2021
As of January 25, 2021, the stay at home order was lifted to the Purple Tier of COVID-19 restrictions allowing outdoor dining and hair salons to reopen with restrictions as well as limited operations. Although we are in the Purple Tier of COVID-19, restaurants are allowed outdoor dining only with modifications.
Restaurants in Downtown Santa Ana quickly adapted to the new safety rules put in place while still letting diners grab a bite outdoors with remodeled patios, parking lots, and sidewalks.
With precautions taken, things are slowly going back to normal. Although the virus is spreading at a slower rate across the state, the COVID-19 pandemic is far from over and masks are required.

I agree that everything is kind of going back to normal but its taking time. Also i like the fact that some restaurants are opening its like everything is going back to normal but in reality it isn’t. I also kind of feel like corona virus is slightly going away but slowly.I feel like the rules that are getting added to the pandemic are actually working in some places but not all.But i hope the virus is completely gone and by that we have to follow the rules.

I believe that things are slowly getting back to normal. Restaurants are only allowed to serve food outside while indoors is not available to the public. I do agree with the COVID-19 being far from over because now that restaurants are open, it will be easier for people to catch COVID. The city is adapting to new safety rules and I hope that they are more efficient than the ones from the ones we had previously. Let’s hope we can keep being at this rate and not let the virus make the situation even worse.
