The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will face off against the reigning champions the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl on February 7, 2021 in Tampa, Florida.

This marks the second time this football season where the Chiefs will face the Buccaneers. In their first game, week 12 of the regular season, it came down to the wire with the Chiefs barely winning by 3 points for a winning score of 27-24. The star of that game was the Chiefs’ wide receiver Tyreek Hill, who had 269 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Seniors Aaron Bravo and Johnny Reyes are looking forward to the quarterback matchup.

Bravo stated, “It’s going to be a good matchup between the goat and the baby goat.”

Brady, in his first year with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, has led the team to an outstanding season record (11-5) but will have to go through the young gun Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs (14-2) to win this year’s Super Bowl.

For Reyes, “I feel as if this matchup is like the passing of the torch from Tom Brady to Patrick Mahomes.”

The Buccaneers will be the first NFL team in history to play in the Super Bowl at their home stadium. There is limited in-person attendance at this Super Bowl due to Covid-19 restrictions. Some vaccinated first responders have been invited to attend the game in limited numbers.

The Kansas City Chiefs had yet another outstanding season and are currently favored to win Super Bowl LV. The Chiefs offense has not been able to be shut down by any other team’s defense and they show no sign of slowing down for the Buccaneers.

The Chiefs beat out the Cleveland Browns (22-17) then came out victorious against the Buffalo Bills (38-24). The Buccaneers will have to bring out their top game to win this championship.

Although the Chiefs are favored to win, don’t count out Brady yet. He led the Buccaneers to win against Washington Football Team (31-23), the New Orlean Saints (30-20), and the number 1 seed Green Bay Packers (31-26). This will be Brady’s 10th Super Bowl appearance and he hopes to bring home the Vince Lombardi Trophy to Tampa Bay.

Mahomes and the Chiefs hope to be the first team in 17 years to win the  SuperBowl back to back since Brady was with the New England Patriots. Whether the Kansas City Chiefs or the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are victorious, this matchup will go down as one of the greatest.

The game is this Sunday, Feb. 7, and starts at 3:30 p.m. on CBS and NFL Networks.
