Every year, ASB hosts an event for our school clubs to recruit and encourage students to get involved. With Club Rush around the corner, here are some clubs to look forward to!
For community service, you might be interested in joining one of the biggest clubs on campus, Key Club. Past students have been able to rack over 400 hours in the span of 4 years. We all need community service in order to graduate and Key Club has volunteer opportunities monthly.
Another club that provides volunteer hours is ASB Senate. “I joined as a freshman to meet new people and later became president of the club,” said Tiffany Carriedo. “It gave me an opportunity to become more involved in our school and gain community service while having fun.”
To meet people with common interests and form new friendships: K-Pop Club, Anime Club, Polynesian Dance, Art Club, Guitar Club, and Mariachi is be a good match. K-Pop club and Polynesian dance are very well-known clubs that meet up for practice and perform at pep rallies and school events.
Clubs that help organizations with a cause are: Pink Ribbon, Girl Scouts, and Red Cross Club. Joining any of these organizations, can help advance your high school career and make it more enjoyable.
To find out more about more clubs, sign up during club rush Thursday and Friday, Sept. 19- 20 during both lunches.
Get involved and join a club or two, you won’t regret it!

This article might COJOLE some students to join a club such as Key Club. One of my friends joined Key Club and she prognosticates she was going to get a lot of community hours. One thing ASB Club should do is make Club Rush longer like 3-4 days. Many of my friends said that they don’t have enough time to choose the club they want to join. They sometimes result in not joining a club.

Thanks to this article and all the details I now have a better understanding of the variety of clubs our school has to offer. After reading about the different types of clubs I would like to be an AVID participant in key club to be able to receive community service hours. Most of the time I see a THRONG of people attending club meetings and being involved and I would like to be apart of that. As I read the rest of the article it was very informative and had a very detailed description of each club. As I got a better understanding of the different clubs I can see myself participating in my extracurricular activities.

I would love to join a club but I don’t know which one to join. It is difficult deciding because do I have to be ADROIT in that club? I would want to learn more about the club like if it would be helpful for me in school. I would also want to know if I were to join a club would it be a DRUDGERY to go every time. I would want to know this because I wouldn’t want to join a club that would obligate me to go every time because what if I had other important things to do or I had a lot of homework. At the same time, I would want to join a club because I think it would be a fun experience since I’m a shy person and I would want to be less of a shy person and meet new people and also have new friends.

Personally, I think that this new article is REPLETED with informational text. Not only does it give us information about clubs, but the article also mentions how these clubs will help us. For example, in the article is says that most clubs at Godinez offer community service hours. This article inspired me to join more clubs because it gave me a lot of examples of students that have joined a club and how it turned out for them. The example that inspired me the most was the one that said that a student had made 400 hours in Key Club. Now that shows a lot of commitment and colleges love that. Godinez has FABRICATED many clubs to try to suit you and now you have to just find those clubs. Therefore, this article informed me about clubs at Godinez and the benefits of being in a club.

In this article, I learned that there are more clubs than I thought there was. I also got to know that I feel encouraged to go to a club this school year. I PROGNOSTICATED that I was going to be able to finish my community hours but I did not . Last year, I was focused on my community hours that I was not joining any clubs. I did not know some clubs offer community service hours. After reading the article I feel a TINGE of encouragement.

This is a very LACONIC article recruiting and encouraging students to get involved in school activities. Every year, ASB hosts an event called “Club Rush” where students could find clubs that they could be interested in. Several clubs include Key Club, K-Pop, Anime, Polynesian, Art, Guitar, and Mariachi. According to Tiffany Carriedo, joining the ASB Senate gave her the opportunity to become involved in school, as well as meeting new people. Joining Key Club is also beneficial because of the opportunities of earning community service hours which can help you become an EMINENT student and apply for a 4-year university.

ASB is always BADGERING students to join clubs and be more active in school. Club rush is a perfect opportunity to do so. There is a PLETHORA of clubs to choose from each showcasing what they’re about. Club rush is effective because it’s during lunch and not after or before school where some students might not be able to make it. It also helps people with common interests to form new friendships and make new connections.

Joining a club can be REPLETE with so many different opportunities to stand out compared to when you were once at home, on your bed, just using your phone. It’s not INTERMINABLE for you to be in a club or be forced to, but it wouldn’t affect you in any way if you were to just check them out and see if they were of any interest to you. Clubs can be underestimated by some students or be considered a waste of time but once you´re in a club and see how misunderstood they are you´ll want to join more. They can take up your time during the day but they can also teach you time management by procrastinating less on your phone and more interaction with day to day things around you. Clubs allow you to meet different people and have more friends as well as be more vocal and any person would tell you to join one!

This article had CAJOLE students to join a club in Godinez Fundamental highschool, by showing them what type of interesting clubs are involved in Godinez. One of the most interesting clubs is Key Club because they give you daily community service which ENHANCES your chances to make it into a good college. The other clubs like k-pop helps you become more sociable with people and helps you do what you love. In Godinez, there are many clubs that helps you improve your social skills. The article had convinced me to join a club that I may be interested in like the Anime club.

This article expresses how clubs have allowed many to ENHANCE their communicating skills. The showing of examples has made me realize that I should join clubs to become ADROIT in the skills that I lack. And it informed me of what the opportunities in some clubs are. I joined Key Club this year to try and become more involved in the community and to meet new people. Also, to help me with my communication skills and help me get my community service hours for this year and hopefully more. Thank you, for writing the article so we can know of the clubs we can join and what some are about.
