When we crave boneless wings, we found a place to go. Being vegan can be easy but at times it gets challenging. One of the many challenges is when you can’t find a vegan restaurant. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t any around. Healthy Junk is an all vegan meat and animal free product restaurant.

Looks good doesn’t it? Classic Burger with French Fries cost $9.65 at Healthy Junk. The burger tasted like a genuine burger.

There they serve a variety of plates like chicken bowls, burgers, fries, and buffalo wings. Just like the food, the prices are reasonable: it ranged from 10-15 dollars per meal.

At first, when trying the food, we were a bit hesitant especially since one of us is not vegetarian/vegan. But, once we did, we were shocked at how delicious the wings are. It was Marycruz’s first time trying vegan food so it took her by surprise at how they tasted exactly like chicken.

Teriyaki Bowl – chick and spring roll cost $12. The teriyaki bowl isn’t as good as it looks lacking in texture.

Although this place might be a bit far from school, you can commute by taking bus #47 with a bunch of friends as we did. It is fascinating that every single plate in this small vegan restaurant has the quality and texture of food that is made from real meat. The menu consists of American classic fast food that is eaten all the time.

Healthy Junk is located on 201 W. Center Street Promenade B, Anaheim, CA 92805 and it is opened 10 a.m.-9 p.m., 7 days a week.

In my opinion it must be hard to be vegan but it’s amazing to know that there is people who stick to their ideals.

It seems like this restaurant has rampant of food. It has got me interested to go check out this place even if I not vegan. But I am sure that a paucity of students would want to also go check out this place. And maybe some of them may become an avid fan of this restaurant.
