You feeling better yet? Yeah, me neither *sigh.* As our beloved Dodgers take the loss for the World Series, our fellow Grizzlies react to their defeat.

The series was a nail bitter from beginning to end. Game one: It was no shock to Dodgers fans: Dodgers won 3-1. Game two: It was a super tight one where the Astros won 7-6. Game three: Dodgers were once again beat 3-5. Game four: Dodgers took the win 6-2 and once again our hopes were up.

Game five: Dodgers took the loss. Game 6: Dodgers won. Maybe we’ll have the chance to win after all.

Game seven: Nope. We brutally lost 5-1.

Sophomore Julissa Ortuno said, “I really don’t watch baseball but I know that the Dodgers are closest to us so I rooted for them. I was really surprised because they did really good in the first game.”

Junior Melanie Ponce, “My family was devastated by the loss since we are super Dodger fans. We really wanted them to win since they haven’t won a World Series game since 1988.”

Some Grizzlies felt otherwise about the Dodgers loss.

Senior Isabel Meza, “I’m actually really happy about their loss. I go for the Angels and in a way the Dodgers are their rivals, so their loss wasn’t really a tragedy to me .”

Well Grizzlies, whether you were for or against the Dodgers, there is no denying that this years World Series was unforgettable.

Dodgers were very hapless to their defeat at the last game against the Astros. This will help them be vigilant for next season. They must learn from their mistakes if they want to get better.
