Emma Marting, 11th grade “It’s been a good experience, and this role has allowed me to grow as an actress. I think that the musical is a great way to inspire others as well as do what I love most.”

Every year Godinez Fundamental High School hosts an annual Spring musical. Ms. Jeanette McMahon and Mr. Richard Marting prepare their students for three months, in long hard working rehearsals prior to the show. Any GFHS student is welcome to audition for a role once the musical is announced mid winter. Thank you to everyone who comes out and supports the VAPA department to make these musicals happen.

This musical has been one of the most memorable musicals I have seen. Everything was phenomenal like the Nazi soldiers using the audience’s seats as part of their setting for one of their scenes. I hope you continued to grow in your acting and singing career. Hopefully one day I can see a familiar face in the theaters or on the big screens.

The musical was amazing! Hopefully you continue to work on acting as you grow up. Will be expecting you on the big screens.
